Big Brother Houseguests Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd are returning to The Amazing Race to face a new challenge. This time around though, it’s just for fun.
More Jejo for CBS’s reality TV? Well, it’s just a cameo this time around as the former Big Brother Houseguests and Amazing Race players caught up with TAR host Phil Keoghan for a go at an upcoming challenge. Looks like the two players had different objectives in mind.
Jeff came to redeem himself from their time on TAR ten seasons ago while Jordan is clearly still in the one-win-is-enough-for-me mode. The recently engaged couple had to dive through freezing water, crawl through the dirt, and race to the finish line in this practice round if they wanted to make up for past TAR mistakes.
It’s pretty funny to see them lined up against children, but hey, it’s every man, woman, and child for themselves when it comes to Amazing Race, right? Jeff is off in a flash while Jordan immediately sits down to slide gently in to the water before helping the children along the obstacle course. It’s classic.
Does Jeff get his TAR win? Will Jordan ever make it to the finish line? Can their engagement survive the depths of TAR? Check out the pics and video below to find out!
The annual rush of Big Brother auditions (event list) is underway with the first open call event in Concho, OK on Saturday, February 28th. After that we’ve got a few weeks of quiet until the next posted event is held in mid-March in Maine. Luckily there are a lot more options heading our way.
Those preferring to submit applications online still have that option as well but you will not want to wait as the online application deadline has been set for April 24, 2015.
Big Brother casting director Robyn Kass has been very active on Twitter over the past few weeks working to promote the upcoming casting season and she’s promised Big Brother Hopefuls even more in-person opportunities to get their foot in the door.

Robyn also offered a Big Brother casting Q&A opportunity last week on Twitter so you can read through that here and see if there are any nuggets of knowledge that are useful to your application plans.
Best of luck to everyone who decides to audition for Big Brother 17! We can’t wait to meet the new cast in just a few more months when the new season arrives.
Keep checking this site and the official BB Casting site for more details
Big Brother found a standout Houseguest this past season with Zach Rance who added a lot of entertainment factor to the BB16 summer. Now in a new interview Zach is revealing his latest adventures and what’s on his horizon including his thoughts on another season.
Since leaving the Big Brother house we’ve seen Zach remain very busy both with a potential entertaining career but also his charity work to help those around him. Now he’s back on television with a return to CBS’s “Bold & Beautiful” and as Rance tells HuffPo, it could grow to something more:
I’m really excited to be back on “B&B.” I’m playing a Forrester Creations employee. For now, it’s just one episode; but who knows if it’ll turn into something bigger? I would love to play a villain on “B&B.” That would be amazing. But I don’t think I’m allowed to say a whole lot about the part right now.
As for keeping his fans entertained outside of TV appearances Zach is proud that his single, Sawagoo, topped the charts on Amazon and climbed nicely to #48 on iTunes as well. Zach is also doing his weekly “Zach Rance Live” shows through YouTube for even more Froot Looping fun.
Could we ever hope to see Zach back in the Big Brother house? Oh you know it. “Of course! Definitely! I’m going to re-watch Dr. Will Kirby’s seasons and observe and learn from the best. And, hopefully, bring it to “Big Brother All-Stars” and win $500,000,” says Zach on if he’d consider another season.
There’s a lot more interesting discussions in his interview that makes it definitely worth reading for all Big Brother fans. My favorite aside just might be his admission that there’s one thing he wishes he hadn’t done: stealing that cue ball. Team America strikes again.
Online applications for BB17 have been open and rolling since last year’s season ended, but now we have our first open casting call events being announced for an in-person opportunity.
There are benefits to both methods, in-person and online, so you’ll want to weigh your options and give special attention to advice from former Houseguest Matt Hoffman and Dan Gheesling on how to improve your chances of being cast. Don’t miss Kassting Inc.’s own list of must-read casting tips.
So far there is just one location and date announced for the Big Brother 17 casting events, but I’d expect several dozen more to be released in the coming weeks so be sure to keep checking back. You can also join us on Facebook, Twitter, and by Email to receive the casting updates.

Last year there were nearly thirty open call events so I would not be surprised by a similar level of opportunities, especially when the casting director is shooting down wacky rumors.
Big Brother Casting Director Robyn Kass has released a funny and informative video filled with casting tips and cameos. For those serious about getting inside the BB17 house this summer this is a must-watch as we close in on the 2014 casting season.

Donny took to Twitter asking his fans if he was due for a close shave and a new profile or if it’d be best to hang on this neck warmer. So far the results have been overwhelmingly one sided.
Is it time to shave my beard off? Retweet if I should keep it a while longer or favorite if I should shave it off.
— Donny Thompson (@DonnyThompsonBB) January 30, 2015
The results so far has Donny’s followers supporting the move to “Shear The Beard” at more than a 4:1 rate over keeping it around much longer. Some Big Brother fans have even suggested Donny go for the trim as a charity fundraiser which could tie in nicely with his “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” event.
What do you think? Should we ‘Fear It’ or ‘Shear It’? Vote in our poll below, take a walk down memory lane with Donny and his wild beard, and share your thoughts.
